The stuffomatic by Mike Beauchamp is for hand-stuffing circuit boards in a production environment. It is based on the teensy 2.0 and reads a “bill of materials” saved as a CSV and connects to parts-bins with embedded LED’s.
Using cut strip tapes rather than full tape reels cuts down on inventory costs when smaller batches of parts are needed. Shown in the video are cut strip tape holders for Manncorp’s MC-series pick and place machines.
